Why Organic?

BETTER FOR PEOPLE.

Anything that is certified as organic means that it has been produced without the use of chemicals or pesticides. We work with producers and growers who uphold these accreditations and our values, some of who we’ve worked with for over 30 years. All the fruit, vegetables we buy haven’t been sprayed with nasty chemicals or pesticides and our dairy and eggs have no added hormones. What does this mean for you? When you buy food from Paul’s, you aren’t putting harmful chemicals into your body. The chemicals that make fruit and vegetables seem bigger and shinier on the shelf can have long term effects on health, whereas with organic food the focus is always on maximising
nutrition for you… Plus, it’s yummier!

Check out ‘Our Story‘ to find out more about our organic certifications and accreditations.

BETTER FOR THE PLANET.

Organic farmers use sustainable methods, growing crops within nature’s cycles without the use of pesticides. This method of farming encourages natural land regeneration which benefits wildlife and the environment. In fact, organic farming has been shown to use less energy, reduce pollution and store more carbon from the atmosphere. At Paul’s we believe that it’s possible to feed the population and save the planet at the same time! Put simply, organic farming lets Mother Nature do her thing.
